Second-hand Parts Store Person



We are a busy Engineering Company and a multi franchise dealership. A large part of our business is parts sales for various forest machine products as well as through our authorised Mercedes Benz Service Dealership. The position is an ideal opportunity for the right person to help run and grow our second-hand Parts department, as well as the prospect of expanding and progressing within their own skill set. This is a strong opportunity for right person who can work in a proactive manner. We need a methodical person to help sort and catalogue our second-hand parts ready for online sale. We are flexible and can tailor the role to the candidate’s strengths, however the initial and critical element of the role will be to organise, photograph and sell the second-hand parts and help maintain a profitable and efficient parts department.

The ideal candidate would have attention to detail, be thorough and good computer skills would be essential. Day to day duties will be to organise the parts, catalogue, photograph and list them on our website shop for sale. They would then follow the sale through to invoice, payment and distribution.

It would be an advantage for the candidate to have experience of a parts department and have engineering knowledge, ideally in Agricultural or Forestry machinery, however, we are realistic and welcome candidates for any sector to apply. They must be conscientious and precise when inputting data, sending out parts and maintaining stock levels.

Salary is negotiable and is dependent on previous experience and applicable skills, computer experience is essential and we will provide product and software training for our in house software. We are based in Ingleton, in the Yorkshire dales and only a 20 minute drive from the Lake District and the M6. It is a beautiful area to work in or even relocate to and there are very good local schools if required.

Salary: £18,112.00-£30,000.00 per year
