Pick up Hitches designed and built in house to suit most Unimogs • Designed and built by ourselves from 30yrs + experience on Unimogs and customer requests. • Fully modelled in Solidworks 3D CAD system, with all spare parts available if needed. • All main components made from High Yield 700 Grade Steel, extra strength with less weight. • Tested in use with well in excess of the maximum allowed 3 tonne drawbar weight. • Hydraulic down (with integrated pressure relief) as well as up, so no leakage of oil into the pneumatic down side as happens in other makes. • Air release with double locking hooks. • Mechanical safety locking of the hitch for road use (legal requirement) • All moving parts are fully greaseable. • PUH Hook is fully load tested CE marked and approved hook from major manufacturer. • Hook is interchangeable with either a clevis drawbar (made to customers specification) or 80mm ball hitch coupling. • Hook is kept well up out of the way, and under the rear of the Unimog to reduce sag at rear axle. • Hitch is fully shot blasted and painted in a spray bake oven with a 2-pack paint of your RAL colour choice (normally cab colour) .
